Helping a Madison Family Recover After the Storm

Helping a Madison Family Recover After the Storm

At SOOCI, we believe community is built through action. This week, our volunteer team had the opportunity to help a local Madison family after severe storms left a large tree down on their property.

Like many families across the area, they woke up to unexpected damage and a long list of challenges that come with storm recovery. High winds and severe weather can leave homeowners dealing with fallen trees, damaged property, and significant cleanup efforts. Recent storms throughout Madison have caused widespread tree damage and cleanup needs across the community.

Our volunteers spent the day assisting with tree removal, clearing debris, and helping restore the property. While the work was physically demanding, it was a reminder that even small acts of service can make a meaningful difference during difficult times.

One of the core values of SOOCI is that growth happens when people come together. Whether through fitness, faith, or service, we strive to create opportunities for people to support one another and make a positive impact in the communities they call home.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and effort to help this family. Their willingness to serve reflects the kind of community we hope to continue building.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to inspire people to live beyond their limits and use their strengths to help others.
